The Village of Tewa is part of the First Mesa area on the Hopi Reservation which consists of 3 separate villages. The Village of Tewa has an administration which is a Tribal Village Government which was created to assist its village members with various different services and to be a bridge between the Hopi Tribal Government and the village members. The Village of Tewa will plan, create, and implement activities to assist in revitalizing and preserving the use of the Tewa Language.
